The British Fire Consortium is proud to launch the Young Person Foundation, a new initiative created to help our member companies recruit, train, and inspire the next generation of fire safety professionals.
This initiative complements our wider membership and training support for UK fire safety businesses.
The Foundation is designed for young people under 25 who are new to the industry or already working within a member company.
Any BFC member of at least one year can put forward a young person, whether a new recruit or existing employee.

75% Discount On Level 3 Qualifications
Eligible young people can complete a full Level 3 qualification with a massive 75% discount, giving members a cost-effective way to invest in their future workforce.

The Young Person Foundation provides clear pathways into the industry by removing barriers and offering access to Ofqual-regulated qualifications.
Step 1
Select a young person under 25 ready to benefit from structured Level 3 training.
Step 2
Request a Young Person Foundation application form.
Step 3
The young person attends the training at a 75% discounted rate with support from their employer and the Consortium.
As the Foundation grows, we aim to deliver full cohorts made entirely of young learners, building a vibrant community of future industry leaders.
